Producers are currently looking for the perfect actress to play... Bones' mother? When Brennan is in an "altered state" in an upcoming episode called "A Shot In the Dark," she'll have a vision of her mother, Christine Brennan. There's painful history between the two women, but a lot of love as well, and before Christine vanishes, she'll give her daughter some much-needed advice. Oh -- did we mention that Brennan is in her "altered state" because she's being operated on by a trauma surgeon after a gunshot wound? Ouch.
