Yo ahora mismo no sé si alegrarme o deprimirme, porque por un momento se ha pensado que la pasaban a verano, así que he tenido un pequeño infarto y todavía estoy recuperándome. jajaja

Aquí dejo las explicaciones que ha dado Pedowitz sobre esta decisión para The 100.

The CW announced its 2015-16 schedule Thursday (May 14), which left "The 100" fans dismayed to find out the post-apocalyptic show will not return until next year. But CW president Mark Pedowitz says it was for no other reason than to get the fall schedule right, and he hopes the longer break will give "The 100" the chance to find more viewers in the meantime.

"We had to make some moves to put on some shows and make some changes," Pedowitz tells Zap2it during a conference call. "We felt that 'Vampire Diaries' and 'Originals' is a good combination on Thursdays, we needed to shore up Thursday a little bit. We felt that 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' was a better fit on Monday. I think 'The 100' and 'Jane' might have been a little bit twisty."

By holding "The 100" until midseason, Pedowitz says that he hopes such a critically acclaimed show will perhaps finally get the viewers to match its acclaim, a la "Breaking Bad," the AMC hit whose buzz built so much that it saw a jump in viewers between Seasons 3 and 4 and then a steady rise in viewers throughout its final season.

"It's a big Netflix favorite, and having the opportunity to catch up on years 1 and 2 as we begin year 3, maybe this show can get the real viewers it deserves, and maybe it'll have that 'Breaking Bad' moment," Pedowitz says.

Whether it does find new eyeballs before its Season 3 premiere remains to be seen, but fans can rest assured that Season 3 will run in its entirety in spring 2016.

"We haven't quite figured out what the order path will be yet ... whether we run 13 straight or not, we will have all 13-16 episodes we need to run as we require it," says Pedowitz. "Yes, we will be pretty much going non-stop."

He adds, "I am happy to have a critically acclaimed show like ['The 100'] coming on in midseason."

Pues eso parece chicas, los The 100 lo mas probable es que vuelva en marzo.

Jason ya ha puesto un tweet sobre este tema diciendo que aunque haya que esperar mas, ellos tienen tiempo extra para hacer mejor la serie.

Puede ser que esto lo hagan para beneficiar a la serie por todas las cosas que comentas Ire, pero no deja de ser una mierda!! que tengamos un hiatus de 1 año desde que se acabó la segunda temporada....me parece mucha espera, que rabia!! pero bueno aquí seguiremos apoyándola.

Creo que nos vamos a tener que inventar muchos juegos para pasar esos 3-4 meses extra, jaja.

jajajajaja Jason. La verdad es que aunque pueda ser bueno para la serie, la espera va a ser matadora. Anda que no vamos a tener que inventarnos juegos para pasar tantos meses.

Y bueno ahora os dejo lo que quería dejaros ayer sobre Ricky, porque además llega en el momento oportuno. ¿Cómo aguantar un larguísimo y desesperante hiatus sin The 100? Pues viendo series de nuestros chicos!! Hoy os recomiendo la serie "Mistresses"(Infieles).

Ricky Whittle interpretó al personaje de Daniel en la segunda temporada de Mistresses. Y he leído a alguien comentar que el actor que interpreta a Miller aparecerá en su tercera temporada. Además, el protagonista masculino es Brett Tucker, el ex de nuestra querida Eliza Taylor y mi querido Dave Brever en la serie australiana Las Hermanas McLeod.



Esta serie de la abc es una adaptación de la serie británica del mismo nombre, la cual se basa en las ajetreadas vidas de cuatro mujeres y sus líos amorosos. Yo la empece a ver mucho antes que The 100 y me gustó mucho. Es muy fresquita y agradable de ver, y tiene un grandísimo reparto!!

Se trata de una serie veraniega, por lo que puede ayudarnos a pasar el verano y a no echar tanto de menos The 100. Solo lleva dos temporadas de 13 episodios por lo que es fácil ponerse al día. Además, la tercera temporada está a puntito de estrenarse, el 18 de junio.

Sinopsis:

Savi (Alyssa Milano) es una mujer con una exitosa carrera que se enfrenta a una nueva fase en su vida, tanto personal como profesional, ya que intenta formar una familia con su marido Harry (Brett Tucker) y aspirar en su profesión como abogada. Por otro lado, está su hermana Josselyn (Jes Macallan), una chica alocada y sin rumbo fijo. Su amiga April (Rochelle Aytes), una madre que se ha quedado viuda recientemente y que intenta reconstruir su vida tras la tragedia. Por último tenemos a Karen (Yunjin Kim), una terapeuta muy exitosa que se reencuentra con las chicas tras una complicada relación con un paciente con el que llegó demasiado lejos.

Buenisimo el tweet de Jason, jaja. Yo aun sigo cabreada con la noticia....pero que alegria ver una foto promocional de la season 3, aunque me da la sensación que la han sacado para calmarnos un poco los animos, es más, han hecho ya sesion de fotos promocionales?? O es un montaje de la propia cadena CW?

Sobre la serie que has puesto Martita en la que participa Ricky, yo ya he visto algún capitulo suelto y no me ha convencido mucho, me recuerda a la serie de Mujeres desesperadas.

Si que puede parecer muy rollo Mujeres Desesperadas, porque parten de una misma premisa, pero vamos...una vez que te metes en la historia no tienen mucho que ver. jajaja O sea hay cosas que han pasado en ambas series en algún momento, pero es que eso es inevitable ya que las dos son dramas amorosos. jajaja Pero no sé, a mi me entretiene mucho y estoy enganchada a la pareja de Harry y Joss. No veo la hora de que estrenen la tercera temporada.

Sobre la foto, si que es un montaje de la CW, pero casi todas sus fotos promocionales lo son. Supongo que estas fotos pertenecen a sesiones de fotos anteriores y las habrán utilizado ahora que necesitaban nuevas fotos promocionales de las series para los Upfront.

Ahh y para variar, Monty también es el personaje favorito de Thomas McDonell. Como no sea porque Christopher Larkin es un amor de persona no lo entiendo. Aunque Monty me gusta no ha tenido esa cantidad de screen time para ser un favorito de nadie no sé...

Hoy se ha estrenado en Chicago la película esa que comentamos de Bob "Lost in the White City" y madre mía las cosas que estoy leyendo de gente que la ha visto. Me parece que es un actor aun por descubrir y solo espero que triunfe de verdad, porque este chico vale para todo!

Al parecer en la película actúa con acento israelí y habla hebreo en alguna ocasión.

Hoy empezamos una semana nueva con Richard Harmon, como siempre os dejo la información que hay en Wikipedia, donde podemos ver que tiene una filmografía muy extensa como Devon Bostick. Y al igual que Devon, la familia de Richard está relacionada con este mundillo, por lo tanto le habrá ayudado a triunfar en su carrera.



Richard Scott Harmon (Mississauga, 18 de agosto de 1991) es un actor canadiense, mejor conocido por su papel de Ray Snider en la serie Tower Prep. Harmon es también conocido por sus papeles en las series The Killing y Continuum.

Harmon nació en la ciudad de Mississauga en Ontario. Es hijo del director Allan Harmon y de la productora Cynde Harmon. Es hermano de la también actriz Jessica Harmon. Hizo su debut profesional a los 11 años, en la serie de televisión Jeremiah.

La semana pasada asistió a la premiere en Melbourne de la película Mad Max Fury Road. Lamentablemente solo ha salido una foto...



También subió ayer una foto promocionando un nuevo libro que se había comprado. Ahora me hace gracia lo que dijo Christopher en la entrevista de que Bob era el más listo de todos y que era un nerd de la lectura. La verdad es que le admiro, porque yo lo que es leer poco... jajaja

Durante su estancia en Australia, Bob ha realizado una entrevista, que es probablemente en la que más cosas he descubierto de él y en la que más abierto lo he visto. Además es muy gracioso, porque al parecer se olvidó de tomarse una foto para la entrevista y le mandó una a la chica pidiéndole disculpas por el fallo. No puede ser más adorable en serio.

Bob Morley has spent the last two years playing Bellamy Blake, would-be assassin and protective big brother on The 100; the show set in a dystopian future where one hundred juvenile delinquents are sent down to a radiation-soaked Earth ninety seven years after a nuclear war. Fresh off his first convention, he took some time out to talk to SPOOK about his career, working overseas, having to dumb down his abseiling abilities and how, had life not taken a few different turns, he might be sitting in the Australian outback, testing pH and licking rocks.
It’s the first time Morley has travelled back home to Australia since landing the role on the Canadian/American television series. In the break between seasons two and three, he has filled his time with various projects, including building a chair (which now has its own Twitter page by the way).

Morley didn’t imagine himself pursuing a career in the creative arts until he started a geological engineering degree at RMIT. “I just remember we were out somewhere doing this field trip, and we were doing these seven tests for pH levels. One of them was licking rocks and I remember sitting out in the field, licking a rock, and thinking — this isn’t something I want to do for the rest of my life.” He laughs. “I had to stop and think about what it was that made me happy, and what I enjoyed doing, and I thought back to doing performances at school.” After that he enrolled in creative arts at La Trobe University and it was there, while performing in a play called Angels With Dirty Faces, he was spotted by the casting directors for Home and Away and was asked in for an audition.

Since that time he has worked on both Home and Away and Neighbours, as well as having completed numerous film roles both in Australia and overseas. His acting philosophy is that the craft is something that can be learned through life experience and that the same training won’t necessarily be ideal for everyone. “You’re constantly working at it” he explains. “It’s not an exact science. The most important thing is exploring all your options and knowing what parts actually work for you.”

The two years he spent on Home and Away were a contrast to what he learned at La Trobe. There, he explains, “we did a lot of the Suzuki Method of Actor Training. I found that really resonated with me, and enabled me to connect to different parts of my emotions. Then being able to go in to Home and Away, which is so far removed from Suzuki — which is all stomping on the ground and is very based in Japanese theatre — and doing an ultra realistic style of acting was kind of the two opposite ends of the spectrum. I learnt a lot through that. I guess Home and Away and Neighbours were the training ground for learning the technical and pragmatic aspects of acting.”

Despite the storybook-like tale of getting scouted from a play and cast in a prominent Australian television series, the downside of this was that it meant he had to put his study on hold. “At home all my brothers and sisters had degrees on the wall, and I had a fan card up there” he laughs. “I was like, I have to change that.” So, he took some time out of acting and headed back to university.

He now splits his time between Vancouver and Los Angeles having landed the role in The 100 one week in to his second pilot season. Pilot season, if you haven’t heard of it, by all accounts sounds like a highly stressful all-out scrum, where actors come from all around the world to audition and compete for roles on upcoming television series which may or may not end up being commissioned.

Despite his respect for the Australian film industry, he seems to have really carved out a niche overseas. “I found it really hard to call myself an actor when I was here. It even took me a long time to write that down on my travel documents; I was always just a student.” He points to a difference in societal attitudes as a major reason for this. “There’s a stigma around it [in Australia] that you think quite highly of yourself. When you get to the States, especially Los Angeles, it’s a legitimate career and profession and people treat it as such. When you say you’re an actor people say ‘oh ok cool’; they accept it. It’s just like being a writer or an architect — whereas here it’s kind of like ‘when are you going to get a real job’.”

The cast of The 100 is littered with Australians — “I think maybe Jason Rothenberg (The 100 writer and producer) has a soft spot for Aussies” Morley jokes. “I think for Australian actors there is a level of intensity when we come to the States because we’re flying to the other side of the world, and you have to be pretty damn serious to just pick up your life and leave. It raises the stakes quite a lot.”

In his own words The 100 “deals with the grey area and the human condition”, something which is demonstrated particularly well through his own character’s progression. With Bellamy starting out as someone who initially, to be frank, was a jerk, Spook asked if Morley knew what the character arc was going to be beyond his initial violence and struggle for leadership.

“When you get a character that is just a dick or, you know, the ‘bad guy’, you have to love them even for all their faults” he replies. “You have to find a way for you to love them because you’re basically going to be the only person who cares about them. I always thought he had a good heart and that his reasons were noble. He was pushed to extreme measures to get [to Earth] which shows his dedication to his family. I didn’t know he would come round and be as good as he did by the end of second season.”

The series has thrown up a number of challenges, particularly physical ones. In one scene, where his character is being hanged, despite being in a full body harness, he lost his voice for two days afterwards. “Not that I was actually hanging from my neck, but I had the tie on tight enough to look like it was doing something” he says. In another sequence he had to be repeatedly suspended upside down. “That one was really tough. It’s not so bad hanging upside down one or two times, but when you do it twenty times in a day, and then you do a full scene where you’re up there for three minutes, then you come down to start a fight sequence — you’re seeing stars.”

In contrast to the physical challenges of those scenes, in season two his character is required to climb down a cliff face. “When my brother saw that scene he was like ‘why are you abseiling like an idiot?’”He continues “I do a lot of rock climbing – that’s kind of the sport that I do.” However due to his character’s back story and inexperience, Morley was asked to make it look like he’d never done it before. “I knew my brother was going to give me grief about it.”

One of his favourite scenes ended up being cut. In a sequence where his character is trying to escape through a series of air vents, in the original version he was being followed. “There was this bit where guards are crawling through the vents and they’re like ‘stop there’s nowhere to go!’ — it was like a crawl chase” he laughs. “I’d scamper through, and they’d be scampering after me. It was a bit ridiculous, like watching these hamsters chasing each other.”

With filming lasting on average six months of the year, there is a lot of time to fill between shooting. “Between season one and two I stayed in Los Angeles and was looking for work, but it’s really hard to get the stars to align and get the work in the right time.” he explains. “I had a few instances that were a little bit heartbreaking.” In one of the breaks however, the timing did work out, and Morley shot a film in Tel Aviv called Lost in the White City. “It’s a really interesting indie film — it’s another one of those where I feel I grew as an actor. I think that’s the best thing about acting; that you constantly keep growing and pushing yourself.”

It’s a tough timetable, and going back and forth between different places makes having a routine quite tricky, Morley explains. “So this season, between season two and three I decided to come home. I wasn’t too fussed if I did work or not; if it fits in, great, but if not that’s also great. I’m happy to be home.”
